OUR HISTORY



We started spreading the joy of a good-quality cup of coffee in 2015, in Barcelona’s neighborhood, Gracia.

We’ve been growing since then, thanks to our amazing costumers’ support. We enjoy sharing our coffee-knowledge and being part of the outstanding worldwide movement of coffee industry improvement. Spreading out how it should taste and be appreciated, always aiming to be an exciting part of peoples’ day.

FROM PLANTATION TO CUP, EVERY COFFEE HAS A STORY TO TELL

COFFEE IS A FRUIT. It takes The Coffee Tree a long journey that lasts for years from nursing as a young plant to Growing until it’s able to produce beautiful Coffee Cherries “The Fruit”. Then, these cherries are Handpicked, Processed in a unique way to every crop to then be Stored and Shipped across the world where it arrives to us. We then Roast these Coffees weekly to provide you with freshly roasted beans that you can enjoy daily and hopefully taste the whole journey of this amazing coffees from the start.

Each and every step of the process will influence the taste of that cup you drink. In ONNA, we like to be included and aware of as much about the coffees we roast as we possibly can. We also like to know the story behind the farmers who grow these coffees as part of their lifework is expressed in the coffees they produce. So, we really do believe that from “Plantation to CUP, Every Coffee Has A Story To Tell” and as Coffee Roasters we like to express the real story and soul of these coffees by roasting them light-medium to highlight the natural characteristics of each coffee and the natural differences between the variations we offer.
